Soz carn... I don't even have any high end asian minis, but this isn't right. It's like if they were to add something to the game that you spent time collecting and then every dude was given a shot at it.

They should have made new minis and new ultra rare minis. If they wanted to help people fill their homs, make it 2 minis or 3 minis per gift. 1 old one and 1 new one.

They don't really think about how they screw over people who have invested a lot of time and effort. And lets not act like they don't know. Prices jump on items before we know the value was going to increase. So these devs either buy up stuff or tell their friends. Example the mini pig was being given away for free up until 2 days before the trade in was known. Booze spiked a week before it became spammable. Arenanet knows theres a vested interest and value placed on these pixels and they exploit for themselves. I know there wont be any frogs in those new minis because they wouldnt want to screw over ms grey. BUT ITS OK TO SCREW OVER OTHER PLAYERS RIGHT? Wrong. There shouldn't be any asian minis or other rare minis in those 7th year gifts. Bad enough they couldn't give us new ones to enjoy.

Scumbag company imo.

Anyways its all moot. DUPERS ARE DUPING. Nothing is safe. Guild wars is dead.

Benadryl is total date rape to me. I'm out in five minutes and I sleep like I'm in a coma. I'm usually out a good 4-5 hours before I come around so I try not to take the stuff.

Not everyone is the same. Some drugs affect some people differently. The chief ingredient of benadryl(diphenhydramine) can cause a hyper feeling to some people that have strange genetic properties with a specific enzyme. Check this out,

Unfortunately Vokna your screenshot could be replicated with any high-end mini with any character. The conversation can be fabricated and so can your alibi.

You might have been able to make it more convincing by having a credible alibi i.e. someone who is respected in the community - but the general skeptical community would still probably disregard the sitatuation.

Accept that everyone is a skeptic until the magic line is screenshotted and posted.

GW1 is wrapping up. It's coming to it's end. Giving players that were there since day1 a chance at some super exclusive items is not wrong at all. Not to mention as I said previously. The players who have benefited from trading minipets have shit tons of cash, and have bought everything they could already. It's not like all of a sudden they will be broke and the game will be forever ruined.

I hope I get an unded Kanaxai, Panda and IG from my three presents in Dec, and Jan. I will dedicate them immediately, and they will go into my storage. I won't lose any sleep over doing it, and I don't think any highend trader is going to miss the potential of me paying them hundreds of armbraces (which I do not have) to obtain one of these minipets.

Bottom line. It's not going to affect much since there won't be 100,000's of 7 yearers opening presents and all of a sudden a massive influx of super rare minis. It's more likely that the odd pet will pop up and be added to the market or get dedicated by the present holder then used in towns and GH's to show off.

weren't dealt with, the economy is screwed.

Speaking of which.. My idea of new mini's is much better than their screwing people who had older minis. You will see no new frogs I guarantee that much. Why? Because that would be screwing one of their own. Instead it's ok to screw a few hundred of our community. We should not support that. You wouldn't be happy if you had all those mini's and they did this. So don't be a hypocrite.

Your bottom line is only correct if they remove the duped items/minis. If not there could be tons of the reissued minis already on hundreds or thousands of accounts. Most of us here only caught wind of it cuz Spun Duckys thread (which amusingly enough is closed now). If they were good at it, they could have done for quite a while without being detected.

Lastly, don't be so angry. This game is ending and that is your opportunity to get things you couldn't get earlier. Most of us will be moving on to D3 and or GW2. Now you can be the guy with the Panda in Kam. Gl with that.

This is me ranting:
(I do not nor want to own any high end miniatures, they have no value to me)

In my honest opinion, if you did not earn the cash required to buy the high end mini's at current market value through conventional means (obviously this rules out botting) nor did you win it in some contest or the Japanese GvG championship (I doubt any of those guys play anymore) you do NOT deserve a high end mini. Therefore, why would ANET screw the "economy" over and give all 7th year vets the opportunity to obtain these miniatures. I've been playing since the game came out (about 3 weeks after Beta) and I still can't honestly say that playing for 7 years entitles me to deserve the RARE CHANCE to get these mini's from some stupid birthday presents for free.

To those who earned the high end mini's then duped them the first time, you got what you asked for

To those who have NOT earned these high end mini's and are complaining because ONE GUY from ANET's comment mislead you to believe these presents would contain anything that rare, you DO NOT deserve the high end mini's.

If for some weird reason ANET really messed up on this one and put those mini's in the 7th presents- no one in their right mind is going to say they got it from the presents

If you see one that is being sold for under market value, I can 1000000000000% guarantee it was duped. Noone who is clearly thinking is going to sell them for less than what they're worth.

I am still looking for a post with 2 screenies. First is your inventory and second is containg the statement "you received XXX" where XXX is anything out of the ordinary year 1-5 things.
Can anybody please post such a screenie to prove there is new stuff in the gifts?

Firstly. You spent a few lines bitching about this game and making claims to corruption with nothing more than people got lucky with the alcohol and a few other small things. 2nd... Adding new minis does absolutely shit all unless they are extremely available. If they are insanely rare then the highend community corners the market and that's all she wrote. This is as obvious as anything, just look at highend. Also... It's not like the highend community will be broke if this all goes through. Look at how many of them carry 1000's of ecto, zkeys, and armbraces. Changing the value of a few minipets isn't going to crush their fortunes. Also, I am not a hypocrit. I lost a stupid amount of money when NF launched because they decided to add inscriptions. I'm still here playing. While I was not happy about it, it was what it was, and I had to deal with it. I intend on moving into D3 and GW2 so I'm not sure why you think I'm so desperate for these minis. I'm not. If I can get them that would be cool, but I'm not concerned about it 1 bit. PS. I don't have anything left to trade except what 4 things I have listed on highend. I have no doubts of what I have left and what is within my grasps. Highend minipets are not one of those things. Just a couple left to get anyways so w/e.
